NB Racing is a multinational Snowmobile Racing Team. NB Racing participates in Ice Oval competition through out the United States and Canada.

A seasoned veteran of snowmobile racing, Kevin has over 30 years of experience with ice oval racing. With deep roots in Snowmobiling Kevin and his family were the owner/operators of an Arctic Cat, Sno Jet, Yamaha Dealership located in Swan Hills, Alberta, Canada. Kevin and his brothers were known as Nagel Brothers Racing. They competed across the Rocky Mountain region in the 1970’s and 1980’s on snowmobiles ranging from Mercury Snow Twisters to Yamaha SSR Sno Pros. The Nagel family was a force to be reckoned with in the North Western Snowmobile Association (NWSA), The NORTH-AM International Snowmobile Racing Society, the Waldheim Championships, and more. Kevin and his family remained active in motorsports including interests in Auto Racing, Indy Cars, and Motorcycles. In 2010 Kevin made a leap back into Ice Oval Racing with driver Nick Butze with a Ski Doo Formula I Twin Track racing machine. With the dissolution of the Formula I series they moved into Formula 500, Sno Pro IFS and now the cutting edge Factory 600 Professional Series. Kevin continues to reside in Swan Hills, Alberta, Canada while operating the transnational racing efforts of NB Racing remotely.
 
       
  Nick Butze
Nick Butze is a driver of many talents. He is an excelling scholar with Associates degrees in Paralegal Services from the Minnesota State Community and Technical College, Baccalaureate degrees in Political Science, Economics and Legal Studies from the Minnesota State University at Moorhead. In 2009 he was the recipient of the coveted American Degree by the National Organization of FFA at the National Convention in Indianapolis, Indiana. Nick also received Star Achievements from the State of Minnesota FFA in Agriculture and Agribusiness. In Nick’s college degree he was also very active in Student Government and Leadership. He served as the Student Senate Vice President of the Minnesota State Community and Technical College – Detroit Lakes. At Minnesota State University – Moorhead Nick served as a leading Student Senator with interests in the Student Diversity Committee where he helped organize a number of student and student religion diversity events.

  Chris Harris
Lead Fabricator/Welder/Machinist

Chris qualified at the University of Cape Town with a Bachelor of Commerce and Chartered Accountancy degrees. He has spent most of his career developing distribution networks throughout the world. He created the market for Computer Associates in Southern Africa, worked for ICL Fujistu in establishing its software presence in Southern Africa, Before founding CH Trade Chris worked nine years for Great Plains Software and Microsoft in setting up distribution across three continents. His passion is developing new off-shore markets and witnessing the opportunities develop. His latest concentration has been in the development of precision Aluminum racing products with a strong emphasis on Tungsten Insert Gas (TIG) Welding. Chris is also a very avid Auto Racing Enthusiast and enjoys Porsche performance cars. Chris is also a world class benchrest shooter competing internationally on Team USA in the World Benchrest Championship. Chris aspires to work with NB Racing to create and engineer top of the line racing products, in the fullness of time. . .
 
       
       
  Alan Nagel
Alan is a long time snowmobile racing fanatic having grown up in the sport coming through the NWSA junior program in the early 70s. Alan is a 3rd generation “mechanic” and worked as a factory trained sled technician in the family owned business (5 bay automotive/Arctic Cat & Sno-Jet dealer) when he was just 14. His racing career began at a local high-banked all-snow 1/4 mile track in 1974 when a family friend let him run a 340 Thunderjet in Junior Mod II. He won that race and was hooked from that day. Over the next 15 years Alan and his racing family (adeptly led by father /crew chief/bus driver Ken Nagel) traveled the Canadian West throughout the winter campaigning whatever was WINNING from T-Jets and Twisters to SRX and SSRs. Alan currently lives in Calgary AB and is employed by General Motors of Canada’s Field Engineering Division as a corporate technical trainer. He is also an adjunct Professor of Automotive and Mechanical Engineering at the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology.
